ABOUT THE HUDDLE
Objectives:
Bringing the athlete’s Sports Medicine network together to discuss and collaborate on evaluation & rehabilitation/treatment and providing care for the complete athlete.
- Define evidence-based practices of evaluation, diagnosis and/or management of common sports-related injuries, including upper extremity, foot and ankle, concussions, and considerations specific to youth and artistic athletes.
- Describe principles of injury prevention, treatment and rehabilitation at the provider-patient level.
- Identify the roles of each professional in the athlete’s network improving the ability to provide complete athlete care through that network.
- Integrate established scientific practices in to the treatment and rehabilitation of the athlete.
