He will also discuss what today’s athletes should know about ACL treatment\, rehabilitation\, and returning to sport with confidence. \n\n\n\nDr. Patel is a board-certified orthopaedic surgeon specializing in sports medicine and shoulder surgery. Using examples from sport-specific assessments\, she will show how factors such as quadriceps-dominant movement strategies and dynamic knee valgus can inform individualized exercises and recommendations. \n\n\n\nAthletes and parents will learn how a comprehensive movement assessment can help identify modifiable risk factors and guide strategies for safer\, stronger performance. \n\n\n\nKatie is a former collegiate softball athlete whose clinical and research interests include biomechanics\, injury prevention\, and return-to-play decision-making. She has authored multiple peer-reviewed manuscripts and presented nationally on ACL rehabilitation\, softball outcomes\, and return-to-play assessment. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nFueling Her Performance: Nutrition for the Female Athlete\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nKaylie Campbell\, MS\, RDN\, CSSD\, LDSports DietitianCuris Functional Health\, Rockwall and Plano\n\n\n\nTraining harder cannot make up for consistently underfueling. \n\n\n\nKaylie Campbell will discuss the nutritional needs of female athletes\, including important nutrients\, fueling around training and competition\, and how the menstrual cycle may influence nutrition needs.
