About Me

Kayla is from North Florida where she played and coached sports such as volleyball and softball her whole life and cheered in college. She attended Florida International University for her Bachelor degree in psychology then went on to earn her Doctorate of Physical Therapy degree from the University of Saint Augustine for Health Sciences in Miami, Florida.

Kayla found her love of PT through her own experiences of having to relearn how to walk and complete daily activities again due to a motor vehicle accident. She enjoys working with a wide variety of athletes and individuals throughout many stages of life helping them to return to what they love to do, at a higher level than preinjury.

Outside the clinic, Kayla enjoys spending time with her husband and during baseball season watching his games along with facetiming her dog who is back home in Florida. She also enjoys playing pickleball and beach volleyball with friends and family, working out, exploring Arizona, hiking, paddle boarding, painting and reading.
