EVENTS & EDUCATION
ATHLETES ARE ALWAYS ELEVATING THEIR GAME –
SO WE ARE, TOO
To treat athletes at the highest level, Spooner Sports Medicine is constantly challenging itself in actions- not just words. Through internal education and collaboration, we push for higher standards for identifying and treating the athlete’s needs.
SPOONER SPORTS MEDICINE
EDUCATION PROGRAM
Spooner Sports Medicine thrives on two things, teamwork and collaboration. That is why our Sports Medicine Education Program brings individuals together who are passionate about sports medicine and takes them through an intense didactic, active, and collaborative learning experience that will elevate the clinician and continue their growth in the sports medicine realm.
OUTCOMES
The program hopes to accomplish several things with the participants including, not limited to:
- Improve the knowledge of the clinician and their treatment of an athlete
- Help them identify and create a network of sports medicine collaborators within their community
- Understand the importance of, and improve their methods of, communication and collaboration in regards to the athlete’s care
It is important to note that the training doesn’t end when the class does, we continue to collaborate with each other and help the physical therapists throughout the process of growing their sports medicine practice in their clinics.
