About Me:

Jessica has been a physical therapist for 17 years. She loves her career and all it has taught her. To be a physical therapist that really makes a difference in someone’s life requires the person behind the “PT” title to grow and change and learn from every colleague, every job, and every patient. With her faith at her forefront, she always allows new experiences and adventures to guide her as a therapist, as a mom, a wife, and ultimately, as a person.

In 2005, Jessica began her physical therapy journey as an inpatient PT. Soon after she began her career, Jessica was transferred to manage a rehab department within the Gila River community where she became the PT that she was called to be. She was taught to assess and rehabilitate many diagnoses, ranging from total joint replacements, CVA, amputees, SCI, diabetes, wound care, burn rehabilitation, Parkinsons, TBI, and more. She embraced a new culture and learned how to retrain functional limitations into improving her patients quality of life. This ultimately taught her how to encompass treating a person as full mind, body, and spirit.

In 2008, Jessica became a mom and the balancing act began. Since then, she has been on a wonderful journey of continuing to build her career and her family. Jessica became a clinical instructor and began sharing and teaching her passion for holistic physical therapy to future PT and PTAs.

In her free time, she is a full time sports mom to three wonderful children. Jessica dabbles in photography as a side hobby and has a virtual franchise that is at the front lines of changing lives in her community. Jessica’s path has led her to become a new member of the Spooner PT leadership team and her passion will continue to guide her success!
