About Me

Born and raised near Lafayette, Louisiana, Mary grew up immersed in the world of college athletics, with her mother coaching a collegiate judo team and hosting it’s National Training Center. She competed in judo, volleyball, and track and field before shifting to recreational sports in college.

Mary earned her bachelor’s degree in Exercise Science from the University of Louisiana at Lafayette before pursuing her Doctorate in Physical Therapy at LSU Health Sciences Center in New Orleans. She then completed a sports physical therapy residency with Ochsner Health, working with local high school and NCAA Division I athletes at the University of New Orleans. This experience refined her clinical reasoning, adaptability, and creativity in treating athletes at any level and fueled her passion for delivering highly individualized, high-quality care.

After earning her board certification in sports physical therapy, Mary continued at Ochsner Health as a sports residency faculty mentor and served as the primary PT for NAIA athletics at Xavier University. She is dedicated to helping athletes not only return to their sport safely and quickly but also perform at a higher level than before their injury.

Outside of the clinic, Mary enjoys hiking with her dog, competing in recreational volleyball leagues, and staying active with CrossFit.
