YOUR ROLE AS A BREAST HEALTH THERAPIST

Improve cancer warriors’ confidence and pride at Spooner, Arizona’s largest physical therapy private practice. Empower women (and men!) and improve the overall quality of life of those undergoing chemotherapy and radiation or those who are regaining strength and energy post-treatment. Be an integral part of the recovery journey by treating the whole patient. Our breast health team at Spooner incorporates their knowledge of oncology and breast cancer rehabilitation alongside comprehensive lymphatic care, orthopedic needs, muscle function, joint mobility, and much more!

Spooner therapists treat the whole patient by addressing their mind, body, and spirit, and implementing treatment strategies based on the principles of Applied Functional Science® (AFS). Spooner has a dynamic and active setting that allows our pelvic health therapists to address both breast health and orthopedic needs. We strive to work with patients who are goal oriented and are excited to return to full function.

As a Spooner breast health therapist, you will have the flexibility, freedom, and support to utilize your skills and experience while embracing the Spooner treatment philosophy. You will be empowered to take the initiative to develop your own practice within a practice and see the types of patients you want to see.

As a Spooner breast health therapist, you will strive to see the patient you want to see but also maintain a balance to your caseload. Balancing Breast health and general ortho patient paves the way for you to develop and flourish as a well-rounded therapist. Though many of our specialty providers are in their own clinic, collaboration with colleagues is encouraged for both learning purposes and providing patients with the best experience possible. Our teams enjoy access to easy communication and mentors who are excited to provide their guidance and support.
