About Me:

My name is Brian Schulte and I am proud to be our Coordinator of the FIT program for Spooner, where I operate primarily out of the Scottsdale clinic. While earning my Bachelor’s degree in Exercise Science from Grand Valley State University, I found my passion by combining my background in competitive golf with my love for fitness and immersed myself in the world of golf performance. In 2014, I completed a Fellowship in Applied Functional Science with the Gray Institute, which utilizes chain reaction biomechanics, functional kinesiology, and advanced biomechanical analysis, to help treat, train and empower my clients better. I also carry certifications from both the Titleist Performance Institute and Nike Golf for their golf fitness initiatives.

I’ve always had a passion for teaching, as prior to my time at Spooner, I served as a teaching professional for the Boyne Golf Academy in northern Michigan, helping individuals move better and play better golf. Since 2017, I have also led courses on behalf of the Gray Institute to educate others in the movement industry on Applied Functional Science, and served as a health and wellness instructor for A.T. Still University in Mesa, AZ, for the 2018 year.

Over the years, I have helped clients ranging from 9 to 90+ years old, exercises rookies to professional athletes, and everything in-between. I specialize in geriatrics, Parkinson’s, golf performance, sports performance, and general health/wellness. My training philosophy is best summarized as simply; Vitality, Performance, Rehab.

If I’m not in the clinic, you’ll probably find me at a local golf course; otherwise, I enjoy hockey, cars, technology and punny humor.
