Community Involvement:
Julie has a passion for people with disabilities and long-term diagnoses to be reintegrated into the community and into fun and meaningful personal and community goals. As a result, she spends time volunteering with Ability 360 in Tempe and actively seeks opportunities to volunteer in adaptive sports and community events in Phoenix.

About Me:
Julie moved to Phoenix after living in the Northeast for over 20 years. She completed her doctorate in Goodyear, AZ during which she completed a clinical affiliation with Spooner Physical Therapy in Glendale. After graduation, Julie returned to Spooner Physical Therapy in Avondale. Alongside orthopedics, she has an interest in neurological treatment and rehabilitation across the spectrum of function. Julie believes there is a close relationship between the musculoskeletal and neurological systems of the body and she is looking forward to providing integrated treatment to her patients!

Outside the Clinic:
Outside of the clinic, Julie enjoys being in the outdoors camping, hiking, and biking with her husband and friends. She also enjoys cooking to John Mayer, reading non-fiction, and gardening vegetables alongside a local CSA. She loves new experiences and has been introduced to bouldering and mountain biking recently.
