LaRissa has four years of clinical experience with treating individuals with breast cancer.  She graduated from Creighton University with a Doctorate in Physical Therapy in 2010. Upon her graduation LaRissa possessed a passion to make a difference in people’s lives, being on the cutting edge of cancer and orthopedic rehabilitation, and acting as an advocate for her patients.   She possesses an in-depth knowledge of and empathy for the emotional and psychological stresses that can accompany the diagnosis of breast cancer.  Her passion is to revolutionize the way that women recover from mastectomies, lumpectomies and diagnosis of breast cancer. She pursues this through innovative education, evidence based rehabilitation, advanced manual therapy techniques, and return to fitness programs that promote three dimensional training.  LaRissa is a Fellow of Applied Functional Science from the Gary Gray Institute and is trained in assessing the body three dimensionally to achieve lasting results for her patients.  While she is trying to change the world one breast at a time, she is also focused on her other passions: running, hiking and spending time with her family and husband Benjamin.
