Director of Sports Medicine
Bekah Hibbert, MS, ATC is Spooner’s Director of Sports Medicine. She previously served as the Coordinator of Sports Medicine for Norton Healthcare in Louisville, KY. Prior to her time with Norton, she had a wide variety of athletic training experience including in the collegiate, high school, physician office, and military settings. She received her bachelor’s degree in athletic training from Franklin College and her master’s degree from the University of South Carolina.
She is passionate about growing a sports medicine program at Spooner that cultivates a team environment, both internally and externally, bringing everyone’s strengths and expertise to the forefront to serve the unique need of each athlete.
In her 14 years as an athletic trainer she has had both failures and successes advocating for herself and the profession of athletic training learning many lessons along the way that she hopes will help young professionals and seasoned veterans alike.
