Efficiency in physical effort is key when competing every day! Mobility, strength and power are key factors for success, best utilized when combined with additional performance strategies in an organized and consistent plan.
OFF-SEASON TRAINING OBJECTIVES:
- Recover and address limitations following 2022 season
- Improve physical performance
- Increase tolerance to stressors of sport
- Optimally prepare every athlete for the fall season
The Spooner Uptown summer program offers sport-specific and age-appropriate camps for athletes looking to improve physical performance, promoting positive outcomes on the field of play. Athletes will be coached through the process on why they’re performing specific exercises and how those exercises translate to the field of play.
Phase 1: General Strengthening and Aerobic conditioning

Phase 3: Sport Specific and Agility Training
PROGRAM DETAILS
SCHEDULE: May 27 – July 19, 2022
Tuesday & Friday:
9:30am, 10:30am and 12:00pm start times
Duration
1 hour
Total of 16 training sessions at the Spooner Uptown Chandler clinic
ATHLETE PHYSICAL EVALUATION:
- 10-point screen conducted by a physical therapist looking at injury history and areas of high stress/limitation found commonly in soccer athletes
- Following eval, if necessary, athlete may receive soft tissue treatment prior to training session or be assigned an individual plan to address constraint(s) prior to daily training session
Athlete evaluations to be performed on May 18th and May 20th at 12:00pm.

Athlete Physical Examination
$50 (Required. Evaluations will be conducted by Carly Szemerey, PT, DPT)
Payments
All payments will be collected in clinic at the time of service.
You are welcome to pre-pay for all sessions or make daily payment on the date of training.
