Advocating for Yourself and Your Profession

One of the most important aspects of your career will be learning how to advocate for yourself and for your profession. But these topics are not discussed enough with tangible steps that can be taken in order to provoke change. Join us for a discussion on ways to improve your ability to self-advocate and advocate for others in your profession.

Advocating for Your Athlete’s Nutritional Requirements

Discover how and when it is best to advocate for an athlete’s nutrition as an athletic trainer or sports medicine professional in order to optimize an athlete’s recovery and performance. This is especially important for at-risk populations including those with Relative Energy Deficiency in Sport (RED-S), gut health challenges, anxiety and depression, autoimmune conditions and concussion recovery, to name a few.
