Meet the Coordinator of Performance and Personal Training
at Spooner Scottsdale

Brian Schulte, CSCS, FAFS
A Michigan native, Brian holds a Bachelors in Exercise Science from Grand Valley State University, coupled with completing a Fellowship in Applied Functional Science with the Gray Institute. Brian has a unique clinical niche in golf performance, deriving from his past as a teaching professional at the Boyne Golf Academy, and obtaining multiple certifications with the Titleist Performance Institute and Nike Golf. This mixture of clinical and golf instruction experience allows him to provide solutions towards all aspects of the game of golf. Brian has also found a passion for combining exercise and soft tissue health, becoming a Functional Soft Tissue Specialist and Functional Manual Reaction (FMR) certified practitioner through the Gray Institute.
Through his 10+ years with Spooner, Brian has worked synergistically with physical and occupational therapists to provide movement solutions for individuals with notable orthopedic and neurological needs, professional athletes, and those just needing a little guidance with where to start. He believes that what can be treated therapeutically, should also be trainable, functionally.
Outside of working with clients at Spooner Scottsdale, Brian serves as the Coordinator of Performance and Personal Training at Spooner, overseeing a team of personal trainers and sports performance specialists across the company.
