About Me
Holly Hussey, OTD, OTR/L, CHT is an occupational therapist and Certified Hand Therapist with over a decade of experience in upper extremity rehabilitation and clinical leadership. She previously practiced at Spooner Surprise where she was the Clinic Director and provided specialized care for complex hand and upper extremity conditions.
In addition to her clinical role, Dr. Hussey is an Instructor in the Occupational Therapy Program at Midwestern University, where she teaches and mentors students across foundational and advanced coursework. Her teaching focuses on movement analysis, upper extremity rehabilitation, evidence-based practice, professional development, and principles of teaching and learning. She is passionate about bridging evidence-based education with real-world clinical application.
Dr. Hussey is a Certified Hand Therapist through the Hand Therapy Certification Commission and has been licensed by the State of Arizona since 2013. She is an active member of the American Society of Hand Therapists, the American Occupational Therapy Association, and the Arizona Occupational Therapy Association.
Outside of the clinic, Holly enjoys spending time with her family and embracing the busy rhythm of life with two active daughters who play competitive soccer. Her husband is a math teacher at Liberty High School. When time allows, Holly enjoys reading and staying active.
