About Me
Martin is a physical therapist with an international background — Danish roots, an American heart, and a genuine passion for the people he works with. He earned both his Bachelor of Science and Master of Science in Physical Therapy from Danish universities before crossing the Atlantic to complete his Doctorate in Physical Therapy at George Fox University in Oregon, joining the Spooner family in March 2026.
What sets Martin apart is his commitment to putting patients first — always — and he brings that dedication to every session with a warm smile that makes even the hardest days of recovery feel manageable. He is actively pursuing advanced certifications with a focused ambition to specialize in temporomandibular disorders (TMJ) and sport-specific conditions, ensuring his patients benefit from the most current and targeted care available. Martin has a particular gift for working with youth athletes, meeting them where they are — fueling their motivation and guiding them back to the sport they love, stronger and more resilient than before.
Outside the clinic, Martin lives an active Arizona lifestyle with enthusiasm—lifting weights, swimming laps outdoors, and volunteering in the world of roping and western sports. Back home, his kitchen reflects a well-traveled soul: bold Thai flavors, sun-soaked Greek recipes, and the proud tradition of Danish baking, all made with the same care he brings to his patients every day.
