CAREER OPPORTUNITY AT SPOONER GOODYEAR!

WHY SPOONER?

Most physical therapists didn’t choose this profession to chase productivity metrics, fight insurance restrictions, or spend their days buried in documentation.

They chose it to help people move better, recover faster, and get back to the lives they love.

At Spooner, we believe great therapists deserve the opportunity to practice at the highest level of their profession. That’s why we’ve built a culture where clinical excellence, leadership, and patient care come first.

Our vision has always been clear: elevate physical and occupational therapists as the experts in musculoskeletal care and create an environment where both patients and clinicians can thrive. As we continue to grow throughout Arizona and Texas, we’re looking for leaders who share that vision.

Clinic Director opportunities at Spooner are rare.

Our leaders stay because they are supported, challenged, and empowered to make a meaningful impact. This role is about far more than managing schedules and overseeing operations. As a Clinic Director, you will build culture, develop future leaders, mentor clinicians, strengthen community relationships, and help shape the future of healthcare in your market.

You’ll lead a team of therapists who are passionate about their craft and committed to delivering an experience that patients talk about long after they’ve completed care.

To support your success, you’ll step into a leadership system intentionally designed to help you grow:

  • A structured year-long onboarding and leadership development program
  • Mentorship from experienced Clinic Directors and regional leaders
  • Company-funded continuing education, advanced certifications, and fellowship support
  • Operational and business training to help you lead with confidence
  • A collaborative environment where innovation, learning, and clinical excellence are expected

At Spooner, continuous learning isn’t a slogan—it’s part of who we are. We invest heavily in our people because we believe the best patient outcomes come from empowered clinicians and exceptional leaders.

We will challenge you.
We will invest in you.
We will help you become the leader your team deserves.

If you’re ready to influence more lives, develop future clinicians, and build something meaningful alongside a team of industry-leading professionals, we’d love to meet you.

YOUR ROLE AS A CLINIC DIRECTOR

This is a rare opportunity to lead one of Spooner’s most established and respected clinics in the rapidly growing West Valley: Spooner Goodyear.

As Clinic Director of Spooner Goodyear, you’ll lead a talented team of clinicians committed to delivering exceptional patient care and helping people get back to the activities that matter most to them. You’ll inherit a strong foundation while having the autonomy and support to continue shaping the future of the clinic.

At Spooner, Clinic Directors don’t lead from behind a desk. They remain active clinicians, mentors, and culture-builders who set the standard for patient care and team development.

In this role, you will:

  • Lead and develop a high-performing team of therapists and support staff
  • Mentor clinicians and help them achieve their professional goals
  • Create an exceptional experience for patients, referral partners, and team members
  • Foster a culture built on accountability, collaboration, and continuous learning
  • Drive clinic growth while maintaining the highest standards of care
  • Serve as a leader within both the Spooner organization and the local community

Our treatment philosophy is centered on delivering an engaging experience for every patient—mind, body, and spirit. As a Director, you are responsible for bringing that to life in every interaction, every session, and every team decision.

This role is ideal for a licensed Physical Therapist, Occupational Therapist, or Physical Therapist Assistant who is passionate about developing people, building culture, and leading with purpose.

As Arizona’s largest private practice physical therapy organization, Spooner provides Clinic Directors with the resources, mentorship, and infrastructure needed to succeed, including:

  • A structured onboarding program designed specifically for Clinic Directors
  • Ongoing leadership coaching and mentorship
  • Access to specialty practice groups and internal education programs
  • Generous continuing education support and advanced certification opportunities
  • Operational resources that allow leaders to focus on people and patient care

We encourage our leaders to explore their interests, expand their expertise, and build networks that fuel their passion. With continued company growth comes real opportunity for advancement, influence, and long-term career development.

Spooner has been helping communities achieve health through movement for more than 30 years. We are still growing. Still evolving. Still raising the standard.

If you’re ready to lead a high-performing team, develop future clinicians, and make a lasting impact in one of Arizona’s fastest-growing communities, we’d love to meet you.
