This letter is to inform you that, beginning on April 17, 2023, Spooner will be out-of-network with all UnitedHealthcare insurance plans. It is important to us that you continue to work towards reaching your goals, and our team at Spooner intends to continue helping you achieve them.
You have multiple payment options to consider for your visits at Spooner beginning on April 17th and those options are below:
- UnitedHealthcare Out-of-Network Benefits. If you have out-of-network benefits through your health insurance plan, Spooner would be happy to bill your insurance company accordingly. Please call the phone number on the back of your insurance card or check your online benefits to best understand your individual plan. A member of our team will be happy to also check on your out-of-network benefits. Just ask us!
- Spooner Movement Plus Membership. A Spooner Movement Plus™ membership is a convenient way to continue your care with Spooner. In addition, Spooner Movement Plus offers a whole new way to experience physical therapy and hand therapy.Not only can you continue your recovery with the Spooner team, but all memberships also include access to the Spooner Movement Plus mobile app, where you can

When you’re not in the clinic, your Member Therapist – a trusted, physical therapist and member of the Spooner team – is accessible to you immediately upon registration to provide you with an expert opinion and quick next steps for acute injury and questions.
