About Me:
Dan joined the Spooner Physical Therapy team in June of 2011. Dan is an avid sports fan and has competed in sports much of his life. He was a member of the men’s tennis team while at Augustana University (College), earning his undergraduate degree in Athletic Training. Dan spent most of his time as a student athletic trainer working with the men’s basketball team. He then went on to complete his Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from Creighton University. Most recently, Dan comes to us upon finishing an APTA Credentialed Residency program in Orthopedic Physical Therapy from Creighton University.

Dan has a passion and dedication for the continued growth of the field of physical therapy, both in the development of students and the care of his patients. He has spent time teaching in a Physical Therapist Assistant program at Clarkson College in Omaha, NE. More recently, Dan has spear headed our Therapists In Motion podcast series and finds great joy in advancing the profession through this podcast series. He has been fortunate to engage with many brilliant minds in the world of physical therapy. Dan is also a member of Spooner Physical Therapy’s Practice Performance Team with a focus on the development of our clinical staff through mentoring, outcomes, therapist progression, billing, and documentation.

During his free time, Dan enjoys spending time with his family, cheering for the Huskers, and playing golf.
