About Me

Mark is an Arizona native who completed his undergraduate studies at Arizona State University where he obtained his Bachelor of Science degree in Kinesiology in 2020. He then went on to earn his Doctorate of Physical Therapy from Northern Arizona University in 2025.

As a first generation Mexican-American, Mark is deeply committed to improving access to physical therapy for underserved communities. He has a passion for providing culturally competent, Spanish speaking care, ensuring that language and cultural barriers never limit a patient’s ability to receive effective rehabilitation. “Aqui si se habla Español!” Mark is known for his strong work ethic, compassion, and ability to connect with patients on a personal level. He believes that movement starts in the nervous system and focuses on ensuring the brain and body work together to optimize recovery. Mark also believes that meaningful progress happens when patients feel heard, supported, and empowered throughout their recovery journey.

Outside of the clinic, Mark enjoys staying active and embracing life to the fullest. He has a long life passion for soccer, both playing and following the sport, and dedicates time for self care at the gym. Mark also values quality time with his friends and loved ones, whether it’s sharing a meal, traveling or enjoying a game night! He also enjoys listening to live music and playing video games as a way to relax and connect with others.
