About Me:
Samantha is a native of Colorado Springs, CO. She received her bachelor’s degree in Exercise Science from the University of Northern Arizona and returned to Northern Arizona University to complete her Doctorate in Occupational Therapy. She is passionate about working with clients with upper extremity injuries and has had the opportunity to learn techniques for treating hands during her clinical rotations, gaining the necessary skills to work with this niche population.
Samantha is also passionate about research in the area of hand therapy, having researched topics such as pain science and the rehabilitation of zone II flexor tendon repairs. Samantha treats clients with a holistic perspective and believes in a collaborative approach to the recovery process by providing education and the best tools for clients to successfully achieve their goals and return to meaningful activities.
During her time outside the clinic she enjoys playing soccer, hiking, biking, traveling, and spending time with friends and family.
