About Me:
Ty J. Pehrson, MOT/L, CHT graduated from Texas Woman’s University with a Master of Occupational Therapy Degree in 1998. He has been a practicing Occupational Therapist for the past 14 years. Five of those years were spent in pediatric therapy in both the school and outpatient setting.
In 2008, he became a Certified Hand Therapist and now specializes in rehabilitation of the upper extremity. He is also certified to treat upper extremity lymphedema and performs Functional Capacity Evaluations. He has served as the Director of Hand Therapy and is a current member of the American Society of Hand Therapists. He is currently a Clinical Instructor for master-level students of Occupational Therapy at Midwestern University. Ty enjoys helping individuals through the rehabilitation process while motivating them to reach their highest level of independence.
